Golden Triangle-the most amazing tour releasing the flavorsome dishes, vibrant cultures, ancient past of amazing Indian. With this ten days tour, we'll get a real taste of this captivating country, as we hop from one iconic destination to another. Our India Golden Triangle with Amritsar Tour Itinerary starts with a Delhi sightseeing, from Humayun’s Tomb to bustling Chandni Chowk. Next, we'll travel to Amritsar by express train, where we'll spend two nights. Amritsar is the sacred city of the Sikh religion of India. It is undoubtedly known best for its mesmerizing Golden Temple. We'll then fly to Jaipur via Delhi. Jaipur is known as the Pink City and is also the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is a shoppers' Elysium. Jaipur represents the rich and vibrant lifestyle and tradition of Rajasthan. We'll take a city tour and explore the local markets before heading on to Agra where we'll visit the world-renowned Taj Mahal and the stunning Agra Fort. We'll then retrace back to Delhi where our journey ends.

Namaste!! Welcome to the beautiful and colorful country India. After following immigration and customs formalities at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in New Delhi, we will be greeted by a representative from High Wonders Travel who will take us to our pre-booked hotel. After checking in, we take a rest or we may also stroll around. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by High Wonders at a local restaurant. For dinner, you will be served excellent authentic North Indian cuisine which will introduce you to the North Indian food culture.

Delhi is a city which is ever exuberant and lively. Post breakfast we will be taken for a city tour of Old and New Delhi. Today we will visit Jama Masjid which is known to be the largest mosque in India. This mosque was built by Shah Jahan and its construction started in 1844. We will also visit Red Fort, Chandani Chowk and Rajghat. Next, we head to visit Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, President House, India Gate and Laxmi Narayan Temple which is also known as Birla Temple. Later, drive back to the hotel.

In the morning we check out from the hotel and drive towards the railway station to take the Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar. On arrival, a representative from High Wonders Travel will transfer us to the hotel and settle down. In the afternoon, we visit Wagah border to watch a daily "lowering of the flags" ceremony practiced since 1959, by both the security forces of India (Border Security Force) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers). As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. After that, drive back to the hotel.

Post breakfast, we proceed for city tour of Amritsar, pay your respects to the shining and magnificent Golden Temple, a sacred Sikh sanctuary covered with gold leaves by the riverside. Next, we visit the Community Kitchen where 10, 000 pilgrims are fed for free every day and then memorize the innocent people killed during the independence movement of India at the Jallianwala Bagh. Later visit the beautiful Ram Bagh Gardens.

Today we leave Amritsar and fly to our next destination Jaipur via Delhi. After breakfast, we'll transfer to the airport to board the flight. Upon arrival in Jaipur, a representative from High Wonders will pick us up and settle into the pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Post breakfast, we'll out for Jaipur sightseeing. Today, we visit hillside Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the state; inside you'll also experience the kingly palaces including the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors). Next, we visit to view the gorgeous Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) and the City Palace Museum featured with palatial structures and rich collections of Rajasthani costumes and armory. After that, we visit Jantar Mantar the largest stone observatory in the world which is still in use, before driving back to your hotel through the pink rose residential & business areas and at the last, explore the Nahargarh Fort to get the perfect look at the setting sun. After a salute to the sun, it is time to get overwhelmed by the culture with shopping at Bapu Bazaar.

Today, we start our journey by driving from Jaipur to Agra; en-route, we visit Fatehpur Sikri one of the best-preserved examples of the Mughal architecture of India. Fatehpur Sikri is a city which was a long time ago abandoned by Akbar due to the failure of water supply, now it lies in ruins but has been put by UNESCO in the list of world heritage sites. Places to visit here are the holy Jama Masjid, the burial of Sheikh Salim Chishti, Palace of Jahangir, Buland Darwaza (the largest gateway in the world). We continue our drive to Agra, on arrival check in to the pre-booked hotel.

At Sunrise we enjoy visiting the most famous monument of India i.e., Taj Mahal and witness its timeless beauty. This monument has striking architectural features as Shahjahan wanted to erect a structure that could be perfect evidence of his love for his begum (wife) Mumtaz Mahal. Come to know about more interesting facts associated with the Taj Mahal as we visit here. Next, we visit Agra Fort which is a grand fortress of the Mughal dynasty and the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah. Next, we visit some local markets for shopping. Later, drive back to the hotel.

In the morning after breakfast, we check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi, after reaching we will check-in to our pre-booked hotel. The day is at leisure we may go for last-minute shopping or other personal activities. In the evening we will join a farewell dinner program hosted by High Wonders.

Our journey in India comes to an end today! But the memories will remain forever of the wonderful times we spent together. A High Wonders Travel representative will drop us off at the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight.
